Tengeru Boys Secondary School provided a strong academic foundation with passionate and approachable teachers. The serene environment, surrounded by greenery, created an ideal atmosphere for learning and personal growth. Facilities were decent, with functional labs and spacious classrooms, though some upgrades are needed. Extracurricular activities, especially in sports, added balance to the academic focus. Overall, Tengeru Boys offered a well-rounded experience, combining discipline, teamwork, and quality education. It’s a great school, though there’s room for improvement to make it even better!

Having studied at Tengeru Secondary School, I would rate my experience as 3 out of 5 stars. The school has its positives, but there are areas that need improvement to make it truly stand out. The teachers were knowledgeable and dedicated, but not all of them showed the same level of commitment. While a few went above and beyond to support students, others lacked enthusiasm, making learning less engaging in some subjects. The school environment was peaceful, with plenty of greenery, which created a calming atmosphere for studying. However, the facilities were somewhat outdated, and certain resources, like the library and science labs, were limited. This often made it challenging to explore subjects in depth. Extracurricular activities were available but not very diverse, which left fewer opportunities for students to explore talents outside the classroom. Overall, my time at Tengeru was average—it provided the basics but left much to be desired in terms of academic resources and activities. With some investment in facilities and more consistent teacher dedication, the school could become a much better institution.

My son attended this school for three years, and overall, it was a good experience. The teachers are dedicated and genuinely care about the students, which I appreciated. The school also offers a decent range of extracurricular activities that my son enjoyed, particularly in sports. However, there are a few areas that could use improvement. Communication between the administration and parents could be more consistent, and some of the facilities feel a bit outdated compared to other schools in the area. That said, my son made great progress academically and socially, so I would recommend the school with some reservations depending on what you’re looking for as a parent. With a few upgrades, this school could be even better!
